Naomi Campbell Debuts Blonde Hair For Vogue Brazil (PHOTO)

To say that Naomi Campbell's hair has been through a lot is an understatement. Over the course of decades in the modeling industry, Campbell has worn every kind of extension, braid, wig and weave in existence (and has the unfortunate hair damage to show for it).Now Naomi's latest tress change is going blonde. The 42-year-old supermodel was photographed by Tom Munro for the May 2013 cover of Vogue Brazil with stunningly light blonde hair, blown out into sleek, straight strands.
The new color, we think, looks pretty great (although it helps that Campbell clearly has a giant fan pointed right at her head). Even if it is a wig, as FashionGoneRogue reports, we hope it's one Naomi will keep on for a while.

NAOMI Campbell has proved that blondes have more fun as she shows off her new lighter hairstyle on the cover of Brazilian Vogue. The 42-year-old has ditched her darker locks and embraced summer by sporting honey-coloured hair on the front of the magazine.

She can also be seen showing off her enviable figure in a black swimsuit, while wearing chunky pearl bracelets and smouldering in front of the camera.
Campbell's new look comes as rumours began swirling that she and her boyfriend Vladislav Doronin are splitting up.
According to the Mail Online, the glamorous couple are on the verge of ending their romance because the Russian businessman is enjoying the celebrity lifestyle a bit too much.

A source in New York, who revealed that Doronin has been partying in Manhattan, said that the pair have gone from making long-term plans to considering calling time on their relationship.
"It’s incredible, they were talking about babies and marriage before Christmas and they were so in love, so it’s quite shocking that things have gone downhill so fast," they said.
"For high-profile celebrities like Naomi, red carpets and A-list parties are their job, it’s their business – it’s not what they do for fun.
"But Vlad's now out on the town, he’s hanging around with Leonardo DiCaprio and his whole crowd at all the Manhattan hot spots."
Campbell has been in a relationship with Doronin since 2008 and resides with him in Moscow.

I have to say I agree with you on this Tropi. It never fails to amaze me the sight of so many bleach blondes on people that would look so much better if they hadn't done that. I have never understood people dying dark hair blonde. I don't think it looks good on anyone that is not already somewhat blonde. Though contrast is nice, they almost never have the skin tone for it. Natural blondes have blonde eyebrows and light eyelashes. If you don't touch it up practically every week, the tell tale grow out lines appear & look like hell.

Better they add a couple of golden highlights if they must, but the darker the hair, the darker the highlights should be.

I was even horrified at myself the other week while running across pictures from 20 years ago.. I am already a natural blonde but that wasn't good enough back in the day, I wanted it blonder. The horror.
