Actually everything turned out exactly like we planned. We eloped to Coronado Island [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img] which was so perfect, beautiful, the weather could not have been better... not so sunny that we were squinting but not overcast either.. we got married at sunset on the beach with friends and family surrounding us..

I am a complete shoe____ (queen or whore) whichever one you understand better [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img] and I was barefoot on the beach which was even more special for those who understand my shoe fettish....

My husband is the most romantic man I have ever met in my life, he feels very deeply so there were times that I completely lost my breath at the little things that he did or said to me prior to the wedding as we were getting ready.

We flew in on a Friday and were married by sunset the same evening so there was nothing to stress about. My bouquet of 24 orange roses were waiting for me when I arrived, my dress was perfect, and we were so peaceful that nothing was wrong in the world if you were to ask us.

I actually wore my wedding dress again at the reception because everyone was MORTIFIED when they heard I wasn't going to wear it.. I'm glad I did.

We had 200 people, evening reception, lots of candles, Michael Powers a local jazz musician played the entire evening, we had a n awesome candy bar which was a hit and my colors of orange and fuscia was stunning..

One of the most exciting things was that after 7 years... my friend RASHIEDA...yes folks from JA.com flew in for my reception and we met face to face for the very first time. She spent the week with my husband and I and our families that flew in for the reception [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img]

That was the best thing, it was so nice.

Oh the food was good too.

Well check out some wedding books and you will see they do go together beautifully for a summer wedding.. you will also see some great candy bars in wedding book photos... The prettiest ones I have seen have been all white.. mine was all fuschia candies, orange candies and white candies.

The candy bar was a huge hit!
