o.k. so now i'm rocking the wigs because my hair is short. may the good lord help me. i've bought 3 in 3 weeks. currently wearing a blonde streaked afro wig. got lots of compliments on account that i blend my own natural blonde hairline into it. believable as all hell.

i have a curly blonde one, but mr. sue doesn't like it. i have a jet jet jet diana ross wavy one (watta omman love hair) is she dead yet? anyway, this is going to take the place of shooz and purses for me. i didn't know they could be so much fun. anyway we're going to the wig wharehouse on sunday. that's our easy going day. can't wait - but i'll hit a few beauty supply stores on my way home. yeah, summer hours. leaving just now

Wat i love about wigs opposed to weave is the minute mi enter the door mi can drag it off and mr v loves that we dont have to fight with it in the bed

getting braids soon though. just fi a change. a years mi no do braids but I need to grow out a a nice amount of new growth before mi cream again and unless its in braid or something mi know mi gwine hit it with the cream wen mi stawt feel pain wen it fi comb out.

We used to call her The Wig. She had a dress shop in Parade and later in the Plazas. She was short. The wig was big. And red. The wig never changed. Ever.

It was styled like this.

Not true....in some professions it is a matter of force and no I will not elaborate. If you think about it, you will realize it.

How the wigs and the heat Sue - does it bother you? I have never worn one and the heat this side of the border is driving me crazy. Did not work for 3 days last week due to the heat. Thank God for central air.

those are the days I don't walk home and stay in air conditioned places. nights aren't bad, but these are mostly for the fall, coz my natural is just foine for the heat.

The ginormous Afro wig that Oprah Winfrey wears on the September cover of O magazine was designed by Beyonce’s longtime hair stylist Kim Kimble. The Chicago native, who is also the star of the WE-TV reality show “L.A. Hair,” revealed the inspiration behind her jaw-dropping creation during a recent interview with the Chicago Sun Times.
“I saw Andre, Oprah’s hair stylist, on the set of ‘The Voice,’ when I was working with Shakira. He said, ‘I need a really big Afro wig.’ I said, ‘I have just the thing for you,’” she told the newspaper. “When Oprah revealed the cover, I woke up with Twitter blowing up.”


She went on the say that the 3.5-pound pair piece, which Oprah refers to as “Wild Thang,” is made up of multiple bags of hair.
“There are seven bags of hair in that wig,” she said before adding: “Oprah looks absolutely fabulous in it.”
“I say, whatever makes you feel good and creates your confidence, do it,” the third-generation stylist continued. “If you prefer natural, go for it. If you like long weaves, I’m not mad at that either. It’s only hair. At the end of the day, it’s an extension of your style, your image. So whatever makes you feel good, rock it.”
