Belts...I need :help:

My belts have been pulled tighter and tighter and almost all a dem mash up. Just went to the store and my jeans almost dropped off.

I bought slacks to go with suits that had dresses or skirts but now they are too big. I will have to have them taken in. Last week I backed slacks for a meeting without trying them on.....they were HUGE I couldn't wear them.

So come suggest some nice belts for jeans and also for business slacks.

go with classic leather belts. they always look cool. stay away from that bonded leather stuff they crack and don't look *rich* if you're going for a professional look. it's usually not a good thing if you're wearing a nicely styled item of clothing and then pair it up with a cheap belt. try danier if they have it in your area.

Yes yes Danier.....I buy clothing there sometimes but never noticed the belts. Thanks for the tip.

yeh get a good one. if you lose weight the shoemaker only charges you $1 to put in an extra hole or two.

There is one in my area that has been charging me 50 cents a hole but good belts are needed. Belts are new to me. Used to buy them for my son...leather belts. How quickly we forget. He hasn't asked for any in a while.

i've found some pretty great ones in thrift stores on my walks home and they're less than $5. even found brand new gucci - levis and the like at the pound store. i have an entire laundry basket full of belts, i keep them neat with elastic bands after i roll them up. try some of the thrift stores, you'll freak when you see what you can find in them.

Okay I have to be on the hunt as one a dese days, these pants will drop right off. It's embarrasing to step out a de car and have to quickly pull up you pants and then look round quick to mek sure no one saw you.

Can u sew? i say tek in the pants dem. if dem dat big dat u need di belt to hold dem up u still not gonna get that nice sleek look. it ago bunch up bunch up. melt is supposed to be an accessory really, not a necessity. IMO. if u require it to just hold it in by 1/2 inch or just an inch ok ....more dan u need fi get di ting sort out.

I still have not reached my ideal weight. Every time I travel I have a bit of a setback.

Yes I can sew, my grandmothers were both dressmakers....but I don't sew. I have always hated it which is practically sacrilege in my family. There is a tailor near me. I think it is time to give him more business.

But I would like to see samples of some great belts. Please post some photos.
