i'm dread and i work everyday

it's only a problem if YOU think it's a problem

i don't think my hair is a problem so

it hasn't been a problem

and there are plenty of professional dreadlocked men here - plenty

it's the whole package - not just the hair - can you talk, do your job and have references

my locs were not even a problem when i worked in the UK

they wanted what was in my head - not on it - and i doled that out on a "need to know basis" [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

personally - i said personally - i would be less inclined to hire miss weave and nails - and what's with that long toenail thingy - and please don't wear your club clothes to work [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70400-talktohand.gif[/img]

and 2 inches of burnt straw on my head

with black burns from the curling iron on my ears

and a mark on my forehead from curling my bangs

I know a lady - works for one of the biggest law firms on thsi side of the world - she wears locks and let me tell you - when she styel up dem locks there u si - u tink ah Vogue she step from...

she does it up for formal affairs... gets it curled for casual on the go and u never see her two days in row wid it jus hang dung... ah mean she is singlehandledly settign ah whole new standard ova heah...

it ah seh wan!

and u never see her with frizzy roots - she goes and gets them tightened and moisturized regualarly...
