Re: Wrong size
1. Begin with the one pair of shoes that you wear most, and continue this test through all of your shoes. First, make sure that your heels are not hanging off the back off the shoe. This is not only unattractive but bad for your foot-health in general.
2. Watch your toes! They should not hang off the sides of your shoes or be squished together awkwardly. "Smooshed" toes can, over a process of years, cause hammertoe. Think about it this way: If your toes do hang over, then your shoes are the wrong size because that same size shoe in a closed toe would never fit.
4. Practice walking heel first. It is a natural movement, but most people tend to walk toe first in heels. This is bad for the foot and balance.
5. Throw away shoes that don't fit. Be honest with yourself and throw shoes away that are bad for your health. Fifteen years from now a hammertoe will not be attractive.
