chicken soup

I bought a pack of cock soup and wanted to cook some chicken soup. However, I don't think IU am doing it right as I usually have too much noodles and food and not enough soup.... Please share.. thanks a bunch!

BTW, I have never used the cock soup packet before either.

Not only that I have about 6 pack of beans in my cubboard that I have every intention doing something - not sure what. Anyway, since we are on this soup kick...how about about bean soup as well??

Chicken Soup

2 lbs chicken (back would be nice)
1/2 lb pumpkin (optional)
2 cloves garlic
1 chocho cup up small
1 med.carrot cut up
2 stalk escallion
2 sprigs thyme
1 hot pepper
1 pk cock soup
salt
spinners or dumplin

wash chicken,boil in about 4 cups water with chocho,pumpkin,carrot and garlic,add water as needed, when meat is cooked about 20mins,add spinners and seasoning,salt to taste,adjust seasoning,can add a little margarine,taste,simmer for about 1/2 hr.enjoy

I love to cook but have no time anymore. The funny thing is that when I go in the kitchen now, it is hard to even think what to put in the darn pot. Thanks again.
