Does any have recipe for egg punch? Need it for childs school report/meal.

hi prog_lady, egg punch is really the same as egg nog,and you can have it hot also
Egg Punch
6 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
4 cup milk
nutmeg
pinch of salt
whipping cream optinal
beat eggs with a mixer,add salt and sugar
heat milk (if you want to serve it warm)gragually pour heated milk into egg mixture a little at a time. continue to add milk till egg mixture is as hot as the milk then pour all at once. sprinkle with nutmeg and whip cream. rum can also be added to this mixture.

grandma2, this is the kind of egg punch I have from since I was a boy. But some tell me about the kind that is made with Guiness stout. They say it's good but never have I tried it. How much stout is added? And have you personally try that kind?

hi jamaican4jesus yes guiness stout or any kind of stout is good in it,you just have to modify the recipe a bit.this is the one i use
Eggnog
4 eggs separated
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup cream
1 bottle stout or a cup of light rum
nutmeg grated
wisk egg yokes till bright yellow stir in milk and stout. cover an chill,inthe mean time,beat egg whites till stiff,lightly whip the cream. stir in to yoke mixture top with nutmeg.
