Miss Lucy would like some recipes. Her sweet tooth is throbbing. So, it's either off to the tooth extracter or 2 recipes. She is hounding me relentlessly. She asked 10 minutes ago, and just came back to see if I'd sent this off yet. So g2...the 'nut' one...and the other 'sweet' one. And if you want to pay Miss Lucy back for eating almost all of your treats...call her and make her write it out long-hand. Pecan Dream

2 cup pecans
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup orange juice

place all in a micro wave dish,stir,nuke for 6 mins. remove stir again, replace an nuke for another 6 mins,pour on a buttered foiled baking sheet. break apart when cooled enough to handle.

Roca Almond Cookies
1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg yoke
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
10 oz milk chocolate
1 cup finely chopped toasted almonds

Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolk and vanilla. Stir in flour.Spread mixture thinly on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees
for 15 to 20 minutes. Melt chocolate over hot water or on medium power in the micro wave and spread over warm baked cookies. Sprinkle on nuts and press them firmly. Cut in bars while still warm. Let stand until chocolate is dry. enjoy
