I was wondering if you could post the recipie for cooking salt mackerel. Also there should be a searh option on your page, justi n case we need to find something that is not within current view.

Hang tuff for grandma. There's a few different ways to cook salt mackrel including run dung.

Btw, there is a search option. look up.

hi suki, bout de mackrel,

2 mackrel (mek sure dem firm, wen yu a pick de up inna de shap poke it wid yu finga,seen}
1 onion
1 scotch bonnet peppa
1 tomatoe
black peppa an salt
cooking oil

boil de mackrel fi about 2 mins. pour off de wata an repeat. remove from fira run some cold wanter on it, pick up de mackrel (not outa de pan,***kiss teet***} flake it an dont pick out all de bone cause dem nice fi suck on to.
fry up de onion,peppa,tomato, put de mackrel in the fried onion, stir, leave on low fire for about 2 mins. serve.

...........Now dis is fi mi friend, who shall remain nameless, who live a bush DWL.

Mackrel Rundung

2 mackrel
1 onion
1 tomato
1 can of coconut milk ( go to de chinese store, dem is de closes to west indian stores, not cream)
1 scotch bonnet pepper
1 stalk escallion
5 pimento seed crushed
1 clove garlic
1 sprig thyme
black pepper an salt
likle curry

boil off de mackrel an pick it up, mi nuh have to tell yu how, DWL. put the milk in a heavy pot yu can use more but one is ok, boil it on med. heat till it start to turn oil, add yu seasoning,add mackrel, cook for about 2 mins more,adjust seasoning, enjoy an mek mi no DWL [img]/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
