4 cups cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3 tbsp finely chopped onion
3 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar and water. Heat, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking until berries pop, about 5 minutes.
Stir in onion, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, chili powder and cinnamon; simmer for 5 minutes more, stirring occasionally. Ladle into sterilized jars and seal. Makes about 6 cups sauce.
