...mi love bread pudding an mi have some recipe,but mi knoh everone do it diffrent,mi sista, afta she soak har bread,she put it inna de blenda so bway hers is really a pudding.

Your sister puts the bread in the blender AFTER she soaks it? I know some people grate the bread on a hand-grater or in a food processor -- coarsely -- so it still has at least a crumb texture.

Bread pudding is not a thing that easily lends itself to quantities! My own grandma always made it to use up stale bread, and I learned from her. How much milk (or light cream) and eggs, melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, raisins or or apples or whatever else you added, depended on how much stale bread you had, and just how stale it was! I learned from my grandma, and I just judge the quantities by eye and the texture of the bread.

Important to grease the pan or bowl (I use butter) before pouring in the bread-pudding mixture to bake it...bake in a moderate oven, 350, usually about an hour or until a cake-tester inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Bread pudding was one of the great treats of my childhood, especially because it was served with love by my own dear grandma in her warm, sweet-smelling kitchen!
