Re: Soursop drink/ w rum
Hgriff, can you get the soursop fruit or will you be using the canned juice? I'd like to know so I can readjust the recipe for you in case you are using the canned juice. Ingredients for soursop drink is soursop juice, nutmeg, lime and condensed milk (cinnamon is optional).

Re: Soursop drink/ w rum
Hgriff, sorry to keep you waiting, here's the recipe for soursop juice drink, just add your rum to it, but if you use the one with condensed milk, don't use too much rum or your milk will curdle. Also the water to juice ratio goes according to how thick you want your drink to be.
Soursop Juice
Ingredients
1 ripe soursop
condensed (sweet) milk (to taste)
1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp. lime juice
3 cups water (or less, your preference)
Remove skin from soursop. Place 3 cups water and 1 cup soursop pulp in blender. (Remove seeds)
Blend and strain. You may return the pulp to the juice for a thicker drink but it does not enhance the flavour very much more.
Sweeten with condensed milk, add nutmeg and the lime juice. Add rum and blend again. Serves 3-4
You may also add 1/4 tsp. cinnamon to this, which is optional.
To make the juice without condensed milk, just blend with sugar, lime juice, nutmeg, rum and serve over cracked ice.
I'm not sure how the drink was served to you so I offer you both options.
