I recently started purchasing marinades for seasoning. Since I grew up in a traditional Jamaican household, these types of "pre-made" seasonings were never used. I was taught to use natural ingredients and create my own seasoning and taste for that dish.
That all changed when I went to a fellow board members house and tasted a lovely chicken dish that made me lick my fingers. When I asked how she seasoned the chicken, I was surprised to hear the recipie included a marinade.
Since then, I have started using marinades. This is a whole new way of cooking for me, so I am curious to know if anyone else uses them, if so how do you use them and which brands do you use.
