SugarDaddy - transparent and served on coconut vein
spearmint - like peppermint essence on icing and peanuts - at least that is what i can thing of

and similar to the spearmint but with coconut slices

Sukuna, dis di closest mi can cum to di suga an coconut ting, yu can add sum peanuts to dis as well. Dem sell sittin similar to dis wit peanut and coknut inna it here in NY. Mi wi try research di odda fi yuh. Mi knoh dis nat wat yu looking fah but is a start.

Coconut Drops

1 coconut diced about 2 cups
1 little piece of ginger grated
3 cups sugar brown or white

in a heavy pot (like dutch pot) place coconut and enough water to cover,simmer for about 30 mins. add more water if needed,add sugar,boil for about 15mins. it will get thicken,if you test it in water it will form a ball. butter or damp a cookie sheet and drop by spoonfuls let it cool.

anyway here goes

MAMA'S PULL CANDY

3 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 stick butter
1/4 teaspoon soda

Mix water, sugar and vinegar.Stir well. Cook the syrup until it comes to a crackling thread stage, do not stir while cooking. Add soda before removing from heat.Add butter. When butter is
melted, pour into buttered pan.As soon as you can handle the candy with hands, divide into amounts you can handle and pull back and forth, folding from one hand to the other. Pull until brittle.
Lay on wax paper, cut into sticks.

CREAMED PULL CANDY

4 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 rounded tablespoon butter
Flavoring (peppermint, or vanilla or ant flavour)

Boil sugar and water and vinegar for 10 mins. Add butter and continue cooking to 260 degrees. Pour immediately on marble slab (best) but on any surface that will cool quickly. As soon as it can be handled, start pulling, and pull until it turns white.Add flavoring and coloring and pull again until the ridges do not run. Stretch in long ropes and cut with scissors. Try not to let
pieces touch.Leave until candy creams. Then put it in plastic bags or airtight cans.Keeps well, if kept airtight.

peanuts

SUGAR COATED PEANUTS

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 cups raw shelled peanuts

Dissolve sugar in water in saucepan over medium heat. Add peanuts and continue to cook over medium heat, stirring frequently. Cook until nuts are completely sugared (peanuts coated, no syrup,
really dry). Pour and spread on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for approximately 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Delicious. Good for snack and for gift giving.

as to de Staggabak

Bustamante Backbone

1 cup grated coconut (squeeze once, or use copra)
2 cups wet sugar or very dark sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon ginger grated fine
1 tablespoon lime juice or cream of tartar powder (dat de suga nuh fall bak ) so she rite it so mi feel ike it mean dont get too hard or crystlize

mix the sugar and water,add ginger, and lime juice.boil until wen drop in water it forms a ball.about 1/2 hr. add the coconut stir well. pour in a buttered cookie sheet, slice with an knife wen cooled alittle or with a pair of scissors.

yu knoh mi guessing cause wid de sugar she alway taste it to see if it chewy then she adds the coconut.

Me forgot to ask bout fudge, but me hate fudge so me lef e.

You got any photos, cause me na too sure them a de same things because of the names.

The sugar dady is tranparent but if is the same thing like the mama pull canday a how dem get e pan de coconut vein?

an de spearmint look like fudge with peanut a stick out a it. So me na think me see da one either.
