1 pound cake
White wine
1 pkg. instant pistachio pudding (prepared)
2-3 bananas, cut up
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
2 sm. cans mandarin oranges
Cool Whip
Cut cake up and dip into wine. Layer on bottom of triffle bowl. Put pudding on cake just to cover, then layer fruit, then Cool Whip. Put cake, pudding, fruit, Cool Whip in sequence until bowl is full. Cool and serve.
You can skip the wine...I do cause I dont like it that way. and you can use any flavor of pudding and any fruits...I like vanilla pudding and strawberries added to the fruits here.
2 Angel Food cakes
1 lg. box instant vanilla pudding
4 kiwi fruits, sliced
4 bananas, sliced
1 pt. strawberries, sliced
Cool Whip
Tear up Angel Food cake into chunks; make pudding according to package; spread on top of Angel Food chunks. Then layer bananas (some along the sides); then layer kiwi (some along the sides); then layer strawberries (some along the sides); then layer Cool Whip. Repeat all the layers again, top with Cool Whip.
TIP: Looks beautiful in clear glass bowl. (Triffle bowl)
