ok bout the roots drinks now, yu have as many as yu have soda flavours.
now diffrent people tek diffrent roots an mix it together, mi nuh even knoh if yu call de bush dem by de same name weh yu live.
ok we knoh de herbs is international
, enyhoe DWL,we mix diffrent roots fi diffrent tings,like
Rat aise an single bible----cure yu sore fut
duppy chocho will wash weh bad luck
susumba leaf will wash out yu system
bitter cerassee can cure anyting

please note dat aluminum pan caan use fi mek dese ongle enamel an steel.

Anyway, ah noh jim_inna_new_mexico want the recipe, me want it also. One of my co-workers likes to make his own home brew beer, so mi tell him sey mi gonna give him the recipe for "front end lifter" DWL ... poor soul nuh know wey di hell mi talking about!! LOL!

chainy root wid saraparilla and bridal wist. then him boil dis fi a long time bout 1/2 hour or more.
now some times him throw in some cerassee leaf or jack in the bush or madam fate.

So Grandma, I thought this was fermented a bit, like beer, and where can I get the Jamacian Roots? I'm in the desert. you know a place in Albuquerque by chance?

Marble from Dover (border of Portland and St. Mary) recipe...
A bunch of:
Sassiparella (sp)
Blood Wisp
Chainy Root
young Banana
Strong Back
Iron Weed
Little weed fi flavour
Wash and place in a zinc pan half full of water and allow to boil till volume is reduced by half.
Allow to cool and remove herbs
Strain into a glass or plastic container - no stainless steel.
Sweeten to taste with sugar and condensed milk, nutmeg, vanilla, nutmeg, a smidgen of rum if you so incline...
Store in clean, sterilize glass bottle for a week before use...
Now, lyad tell me seh - how this roots caused a man to got to bush to look for him cow in the middle of the day with a bottle torch.. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]
I know it made my step-father dance with some pretty brown skin gal with a broom in our back yard - mi still looking fi di chick..

Yuh cyan use de herbs weh mention....but you should get a clay jar with cover and make it ferment for about a week. If you do choose to sweeten it you should use honey (buy the honey from the health food store).
