sardines & scrambled eggs

1 onion
1 can of sardines
mix all together like making scrambled eggs then fry like making scrambled eggs.

when I first heard of this I almost threw up but after I tasted it it dont taste too bad

HALIBUT IN SPICED COURT BOUILLON

3/4 cup dry white wine
5 cups water
1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 celery rib, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander seeds
1 teaspoon black pepper
a pinch ground cloves
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
two 6-ounce pieces halibut fillet(any firm fish will do)
2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander leaves (wash and dry before chopping)
Garnish: lemon wedges

In a 4- to 6-quart heavy saucepan bring wine and water to a boil with onion, carrot, celery, spices and salt and simmer 20 minutes. Add oil and halibut and poach fish at a bare simmer, covered, until just cooked through, 5 to 6 minutes. Transfer fish with a slotted spoon to 2 plates. Spoon court bouillon over fish. Sprinkle fish with fresh coriander and garnish with lemon wedges.

POACHED SALMON FILLETS

Add to water, the following: lemon slices sliced onion carrots cut in 2 inch pieces celery pepper Cook for about 15-20 minutes. Reduce heat to simmer, add salmon fillet for about 6 minutes or maybe longer if a big piece. Serve vegetables with salmon

TUNISIAN SPICED FISH

1/2 t cumin seeds
1/2 t coriander seeds
1/2 top dried hot pepper flakes
1/2 t caraway seeds
1 1/2 lbs. cod fillets (snapper or bluefish will do)
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
parsley for garnish
1 cup fish stock or bottled clam juice

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add seeds and flakes. Roast for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Grind spices in a spice grinder [I used a mortar and pestle and it worked ok). Spread spices on fish. Let stand 10 minutes. Spray a ovenproof dish large enough to fit all the fish in one layer. Add 1/2 garlic, onions and tomato. Add fish. Add remaining garlic, and onions. Pour over fish stock/clam juice over fish. Bake in a preheated 400 degree for 20-30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.

GINGERED FISH

4-8 small firm white fish fillets
1/2 cup chopped shallots
2 tsp. chopped fresh ginger
Coriander leaves, to taste
Cracked black pepper, to taste
2 Tbsp. lemon juice

For each person, make a foil parcel containing 1-2 fish fillets. Top fillets with remaining ingredients. Wrap securely. Fan Grill at 160 cup for 10-15 minutes or until the fish flakes when tested with a fork.

Here's one for Salmon.

PACIFIC SALMON WITH ROASTED GARLIC

2 medium heads garlic, broken into separate cloves, peeled
1/2 cup (about) olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
8 6- to 7-ounce salmon fillets
4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
4 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary

Preheat oven to 400F. Place garlic in ramekin. Pour enough oil over to cover. Wrap ramekin in double thickness of foil. Bake until garlic is very tender, about 35 minutes. Using slotted spoon, transfer garlic and 1 tablespoon cooking oil to food processor. Add butter to processor; puree. Season with salt and pepper. Preheat oven to 450F. Place salmon on baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle each fillet with 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, then spread 1 tablespoon garlic puree over each. (Can be made 1 day ahead; chill.) Bake salmon uncovered until just cooked through, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle rosemary over and serve. Serves 8.

Beg yuh try cook salmon wid sliced/chopped fennel bulb an caramelized onion. Fry wid a likkle buttah. Or poach wid a likkle liquid.
