same way you make patato dukuna, just that you have to be skillfull wid the consistency.
I use semonila instead of flour and bit of course flour to bind.

! Coconut (brown section removed after shelling) Grate it.
½ Tspoon nutmeg
18 oz dark sugar
1 tsp rosewater and vanilla
¼ Pint water
1 tsp cinnamon
Method
Boil syrup until it spins a thread using the dark sugar and water.
Add grated coconut to boil syrup, then add rest of condiments mix all together then cool and fill pastries.

2 cups Flour
1/3 Cup plus 1 teaspoon full of shortening.
¼ Tspfull salt
Cold water
Sieve together the flour and salt
Cut in shortening until like course cornmeal, and then add sufficient water to make easily handled dough,

2 tbsps baking powder
spice to taste
1 1/2 cups coconut milk
6 eggs
1 cup sugar
1. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, egg and milk into dough, add spice.
2. Let rest for 10 minutes
3. Cut into pieces and drop into boiling water for about 20 mins.
Make a syrup with fresh strawberry or peach using sweet milk and touch of rum or rum flavoring . Use your imagination i used some chocolate made from Jamaican chocolate grated boiled and strained rather thick. I also add ed some All spice in the water or Pimento leaves.
