Sour Cream Chocolate Cake

It's good!

SOUR CREAM CHOCOLATE CAKE

2C flour
2C sugar
1C water
3/4 C sour cream
1/4 C shortening
1 1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. baking powder
2 eggs
4 oz. unsweetened melted chocolate

Mix at low speed for 1/2 minute, and 3 minutes at high speed.

Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes or untill passes toothpick test.

FROSTING

1/3 C. butter
3 oz. chocolate
3 C. powdered sugar
1/2 C. sour cream
2 t. vanilla

I'm looking for the lasagna recipe G2! That is how I stumbled upon this cake I used to make pretty often. If I can't find the recipe I wrote, I'll just have to make it again very soon and post what I did, LOL!
