Date-filled Cornflake Square

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 cups cornflakes, crushed
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water

Cream butter and sugar, add rest of ingredients and stir. Spread with date
filling and proceed as in recipe above. Ice with Chocolate Icing
(chocolate.icing.)

here are my daughters favourites mountaingal

Peanut Butter Corn Flakes Treats

1 cup sugar
1 cup white corn syrup
2 cup peanut butter
5 cup corn flakes

Bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil. Remove from heat and add the peanut butter, cream well. Pour over the 5 cups of corn flakes.

Microwave Peanut Butter Corn Flakes Bars

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup sugar
6 cup corn flakes
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine peanut butter, syrup and sugar in microwave bowl. Microwave 3 to 5 minutes on 100% power stirring frequently until smooth and bubbly. Add corn flakes. Stir until coated and press in 9x13 lightly greased pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and place under broiler in oven until melted. Spread over bars.

Corn Flakes Doodles

1/2 cup butter
1 pkg. regular marshmallows
5 cup corn flakes crushed lightly
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup nuts (your choice)
dry fruits optional

Melt butter in large saucepan. Add marshmallows and stir. Add fruits and nuts. Add corn flakes. Stir until well coated. Shape into anything you want.

well, it look as if i will not be able to get away from the butter and sugar if i want cornflake treats...*sigh*
