Punch De Creme

3 tins condensed milk (14oz)
1/2 tin evaporated milk
6 eggs
1 lime
1/2 bottle rum (26 oz)
1 tbsp. Bitters (Angostura preferably)
1 grated nutmeg

Beat eggs with lime peel.
Add condensed milk gradually, then equally evaporated milk.
To the mixture add bitters and rum.
Sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg.
Bottle and serve over crushed ice.

Always a strong believer that a 'well-lubricated' guest = a
better bashment, we make caipirinhas by the gallon. Cachaca, lime, sugar, ice. Sort of like Martinque's 'p'tit
punch' but smoother and deceptively stronger.
For each drink, muddle 2 keylime cut in half and de-seeded with 2 tablespoons sugar, add jigger of cachaca, stir briskly to incorporate sugar, add ice cubes. Warning:a limit of 3 per guest or your Christmas tree might bite the dust from falling bodies...

mi memba back in di days of our holiday jrinks. it was sawf jrinks. wi save up di bakkle dem till crissmuss inna di buttery (outside kitchen uppa country) and when krismuss come roun wi put di bakkle dem pan di road side an di jrinks chuck come an wi exchange dem fi jrinks. well di official krismuss jrinks was sarrill, mi nay like eh (still dont) cause dem mek eh wid tummuch rum.

Herbal or citrus influenced tea (optional but excellent)

Instructions for making four large portions
-Cut lemons and oranges into slices.
-Pour the red wine into saucepan and gradually heat.
-Add fruit slices, nutmeg, cloves and brandy.
-Keep an eye on the mixture and wait until it becomes hot to the touch.
-At this point you could blend in sugar or water (if desired).
-Pour into glasses/mugs and add tea (to taste).
-Garnish with cinnamon stick and candy cane.

Fruity Egg Nog

Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking/Baking Time:
Serves/Yields: 4 Recipe Date: 1-May-2000


INGREDIENTS

2 cups milk
1 medium ripe banana, peeled and cut in chunks
4 Tbsps. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 medium egg
2 scoops vanilla ice cream

METHOD

In a blender, blend together the milk, banana, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg and egg at high speed.
Add ice cream to mixture in blender and whip for a minute.


Serving Suggestions:
Serve over cracked ice, sprinkle with nutmeg and decorate with cherries.
