In what way do you mean Catholic (since you used a capital C) do you feel you follow Yashua's teachings vs using the word &quot;Christian&quot; to point out that you follow a lot of Yashua's teachings.

just a nod to my roots I guess, plus I respect a religion that is kind of flexible enough to not kick and scream so loudly when it gets showed up by modern advances- although the church has a long way to go still.

a few things I admire about the Catholic teachings are non exclusivity, they believe God's revelations are not restricted to what is found in the Bible, and non believers can get into heaven....

where they fail, where most of them fail, is in the morality and the ethics, the contradictions, causes of evil...that kind of stuff.

You do know some of the reasons for the liberal beliefs, right? The things you mentioned, along with others, are what provoked the Protestant movement as well as The Reformation.

Not exclusive to Catholicism or Christianity for that matter.

On another note: I didn't get to jump in as often as I would have liked, but this thread has been very insightful. Thanks a mil for shedding a bit of a light on your particular world view
