Well I am happy to anounce that I have a new wallrobe..and I didn't spend any money recently on it. My nice nice clothes that were sitting in my closet finally fit again .. well I am down just one size but I am so darn happy and proud of myself.

Don't ask how much weight I have loss because I haven't been on the scale for a while and I want to keep it that way for now but I feel so good and that alone is good encouagement.

it's good...I am not tired all the time anymore, I am not bloated and because I am not overstuffed I realize that my tummy is not that big

Thanks Yogagirl....I read quiet a few sites on raw food including this one. Raw food site but I get help from a friend of mine who has been doing it for a while now help guide me along. As a matter of fact I just got some recipes from her this week that I need to try out too.

are you cooking any of the vegetables ?


if you are having a salad, do you use any salad dressing ?

a guess mi a ask if yuh put anyting pan the food like seasoning and dressing and so on ?

Gen, no mi nuh cook the veggies and mi mek mi own salad dressing with lemon/lime juice, extra virgin olive oil and it depends on what taste I want I add eidda hony or a dash a sea salt.

what kind of veggies you putting in the salad?

are you using any jamaican veggies (eg callaloo) in your eating plan?


can you make smoothies of fresh juices?

I use lettuce..(romaine or red leaf - my favorite). spinach, cucumber, carrots, pear, corn, tomatoes, and I put nuts or raisins in my salad.

no callaoo..I can't eat it raw.

I do a lot of smoothies and fresh jucies..this morning I had two glasses of papaya and banana smoothie.

Add some tabasco sauce to that (instead of the salt) and some Cider Vinegar (which will add the salty taste) and you will be in heaven.

Congrats Mrs Kurlie. That is a fantastic journey that you will never regret.
