congrats, bigred. i like how you just flex with the questions. here are mine:

1. like a traditional j'can man you want to have boy first then girl. but if you have girl first then another girl, will you and boundie keep trying till you get the boy?

2. did your parents allow you to speak patwa in the house when you were growing up?

3. how important is it to you that your parents and your inlaws get along with each other?

4. my brother is an architect as well and almost went to Howard for a term (he ended up in Nice, France, instead). he likes European architecture. Do you like European architecture? Give an example of a building that you think embodies architectural principles you most admire.

5. which would you prefer - a wife who stayed at home and took care of the children, or a wife who was an expert in her field and hired a nanny to take care of the children?

Two children seems ideal, but we'll have as many kids as we can afford or that BB can handle. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

It's not a matter of it being allowed. My Mom was a teacher, so proper english required. It wasn't how we spoke, so it wasn't spoken. Everybodys version of patois is different anyway.

It's not very important, but it would be nice. If they do they do, if not, then they don't. BB and I will be happy no matter what, especially when we get a new house and I have space to hide from her. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

European architecture is nice. Kinda flamboyant though. I like more modern simple architecture. There is an observatory done by Santiago Calatrava that I like very much. Can't remember where it is built, but it's the style that I like.

I would prefer to have BB stay home and take care of the kids. Not because I think women should do that or anything, just that it would be better to have a parent around all the time and not leave my kids to be raised by a nanny. Shoot, if I could stay home I would!!
Whether we can afford that however, is a totally different thing!

I would usually go to peppers, but that was over 5 years ago. I dont know if it's still even open or if the crowd is the same.

Well you did a great job. She's the only American I know that understands it so well. Only in awhile she has to ask the meaning of a word, but once I explain it, she remembers.

You get home and look in the fridge and find that there is one bottle of your favourite beverage (let's say Red Stripe for arguements sake). Also you find one bottle of home made beer that your friend gave you that taste like crap.
