Food and things we love to eat seem to be what we enjoyed most, reading 99% of the posts here.

For me, I enjoyed many things as a kid:-

Climbing the guava tree and hopping unto the roof top of the house I lived and viewing and identifying houses in the neighbourhood around me.

Raising budgerigars and selling them to the pet shop on Half Way Tree Rd when the birds multiplied.

Riding my bicycle with my friends all over Kingston and racing around the neighbourhood block.

Playing cricket in my friends yard.

Playing football on the road down off the main and practicing what was seen on TV the latest style of kicking and shimmying by Pele and Rivelino of Brasil.

Hiding in the bathroom from Father at Georges to catch a smoke.

Going to the sea every Saturday or Sunday. Or to the beach as some would prefer to say.

Going to Caymanas Park`s stables with my Dad to visit his trainer friends and for me to see many of the active horses in training at the time.

Going to double bill and triple bill matinee at Carib, State and Regal cinemas.

Picking bombay mangoes down at Mr. Brown`s yard and nyaming dem.

There was lots of love back then amongst all.
