I am - new to this board....I live in Portmore, JA and visit farheen often. Anyway, question is this....is it just me or have a lot of things in Jamaica gone to foreign and took on new names, personalities, etc?

Same ting appen to mi wid some Cheese Krunchies....dem dey a fareen wid di name "Cheez-Nips" And Cheese Chips name "Cheese Doodles"

Cup Juice = Snow Ball
Hand Bag = Pocket Book
Dumplin = Johnny Cake
Sweetie = Candy
Football = Soccer

Pink Panther go fareen an a guess when di cold lik 'im im start to talk (far im neva use to talk pan JBC) - - - Jus like 'ow Muta go a England an' start where shoes (no disrespek intended)

Anyway, am I di ongle one wid dease types of hexperiences?
