They would rather discuss the effects than solve the problem. The Church and Bad Politicians have similar ends, they need a constant supply of poor,illiterates, and unfortunates to target their messages to.

I call them hypocrites for preaching love, but ignoring the suffering that is caused by their stigmatizing groups by calling them sinners.
