I sure would. If I had things my way it would be now (in my younger years and not burdened down with a lot of baggage). Seeing that that's not feasible probably retirement years.

What do you miss the most about Jamaica?

The weather and the simplistic way of life

I sure have but have also realized that it's a stepping stone and makes me who I am today.

If you had life to live all over again what are 2 things you would have (or would not have) done?

Well I can't think of much I would have done/not do. As I told Sharee before, I would have completed all my college education while I was younger. Oh yes..I also would like to have been a bit more outspoken. A was a dawk chile growing up. Still is in some ways. lol

Suppose you met your partner in the church and he was a christian and then later he decided to leave the church, would you stay in the relationship?

To become very discerning, well versed in the Word and be spiritually matured that I be not easily weighed down by the cares of the world. To clarify my latter statement I don't mean that what's happening in the world doesn't bother or concern me but more in my personal life, if things don't go the way I want it to go I don't let that predicate my happiness or peace of mind.

Great pic. Can I ask a question [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ? How would you compare the Christian walk abroad to that in Jamaica? Did you notice a difference in the experience(s) while growing up? Also, when you pray and the Lord doesn't respond right away or says no, how do you deal with this? God bless!

I would first ask you the above scenario in a hypothetical situation and see what your response was and go from there.

It's kind of hard to say because I wasn't saved while I was in Ja. Pretty much a churchgoer. I grew up in a Pentecostal church however, and it was pretty strict. Here, I'm in the same denomination but I've found it much more liberal especially when it comes to adorning oneself. What I've also notice (IMO) is that christians there seem to take their salvation a little more seriously than here. I don't know if I perceive that incorrectly though.

You know Ephra, I'd actually prefer to hear a no than to wait for a response. Getting the answer up front you know which way to turn but sitting in an uncertain situation can wear one's patient thin. It's in this impatient state that we learn to 1) become patient and wait and 2) trust God. I've learned both of those points somewhat the hard way. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
