Let us pray for the family of Marcia/ackeegirl at this difficult time.

At 1:00AM this Morning July 13th, 2003 Marcia passed away. She had been very ill for a while now but had been battling to stay alive.

I am really quite shaken at this point and in a state of shock. I am not sure where to start but I know the Jamaicans.com community will be paying tribute to her.

The family has requested that I find some of her best posts for the memorial service. Can anyone assist with that? Just send the links to me via email.

I have also started a post called “We love you Marcia” in the Coodeh forum, which was one of her favorite forums. I would like to sends the posts here to her family.

I need a few hours to let reality set in. Our community has lost a great one...God Bless her soul and I hope to see her on the other side of this life.

"Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted." Merciful Father in heaven You have appointed to each of us the seasons of our lives. Today the Davidson family come face to face with a season of death as witnessed by the passing of their beloved Marcia. May their hearts find consolation in the impact that she has made in the lives of so many others, and may they know that in this You have been glorified. Lord may this family remember her for her strength and fortitude, for her courage to carry on in a body that was less than adquate for the many tasks that she so bravely undertook. Yet we scarcely knew just how ill she was. A woman of strength of character she endured much in silence choosing to persevere for the greater good of all those whom she served. Father there is little else that one can say that will restore to this family the former joys of having this beloved person in their midst, but may they know and rest fully assured, that there is a day coming when their eyes will be blessed by her appearance again, till such time Lord we pray comfort, heal and bless this family through this, their season of death.
