Thanks for the list of books you have shared. You will never know what a blessing it was for me. I have been trying to get this particular book "Authority of the Believer" for sometime now. So can you imagine my happiness when I saw it among the rest of spirit filled books? Once again, thanks for sharing. I read that book some 20 years ago and yearned to reread it. Do you happen to have this book "On Being A Christian" that you could also share? please let me know. That is the book I had read about 20 years ago and not the Authority of the believer. I am currently reading the latter one. Thank you.

Well mi nuh kno wah unno mean by it exactly, surrendered is supm done in a time of war, or usually to someone or something we don't like, den again some ppl surrender to food so... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

I like the word submit, isn't that what the word Islam means "one who submits to do the will of Allah" mi kno most christian hate fe si dat word but it's all about overstanding.

As a Nazarite, we separate ourself unto God, separating ourselves from the ways of the world. It even means cutting off those who you used to hang with who refuse to change in any way. (Numbers 6)
Separation is difficult, cause you wear the separation on your head so everyone can see. Going through it brings you strength and clairavoyance. Ppl treat you different cause they don't know how to deal with you cause you are different. We believe and see in the scriptures where Yashua was also a Nazarite so we try to walk in his footsteps and many times we receive the same ridicule by the system

ANYHOW --we can't take Luke 9:23 so literal. When Yashua spoke many times he referred to the spirit. The spirit that dwelld within us---the real YOU. To deny yourself is to deny the weakness of the flesh and it's cravings and wants. That is the biggest battle of our lives, not with anyone outside even though the way fe me life guh sumtime one wid tink mi biggest bakkle is babylon But NO it's wid de flesh an mi spirit an mi flesh quarrel nuff and have brutal fights. Our spirit has no problem submitting to JAH, it is our flesh; dat is our problem.

All things considered, we are basically saying the same thing as it relates to surrendering/submitting [img]/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] It is interesting that you stated that Nazarites wear their separation on their heads. In Chrisitan theology, it is the way we live our lives that indicates our separation from the world.

It is worn on the head as a reminder fe when yuh step out a line. De treatment, de stares, etc. lets you know you must live and move different.
It is the most high who put this on our heads where it transfers in our heads so we can move accordingly.

Sorry I don't, but if it was the one published in 1984, you can get it online at Amazon. A paperback copy costs about $US10 + shipping.
