I learned a lot about the JRC train in the process. And the subject matter made the dreaded task of writing a report mych more enjoyable.

miss b i really enjoyed that info i went to that history site and printed it all even about crops animals the police criminal stuff i had a stack of papers that weighed about 50 lbs and i wuz readin it till 2 am i find these things very interesting exspessially sinc i just started learning about jamaica last year before i had gone to da beautiful country !! last may and i cant wait to go back well i have learned alot about da country frm dat site u put up and wanted to say tanks !!

JA's history is certainly rich and fascinating. Magic's questions and everyone's responses took me on quite a trip too. I thought everyone would be bored with my posts, so I'm glad you enjoyed them.

you mentioned that you found a map which shows the old train /tracks etc....

would you mind telling me where you found it ?

Miss B...I will be printing out some info as well...

because, although I finished high school in JA....I don't recall learning about some of the things I have read....

take the rail system for example....never learned about it....I just knew that I loved it and missed it when it was gone....


I am esecially interested in historical documents/historic preservation and old maps, black and white photos etc...

I saw a couple of old jamaican postcards on ebay ...but that place is such an addiction....

me used to take de "three o'clock train" every day when I was in high school in first to third form. It stopped running after that.

the destinations were downtown kingston and Spanish town st catherine. I lived in Portmore so I would get off in gregory park.
