Goodness, Kia, I do have some other stuff to do today, but here we go!

1) How long u deh down at the Cape?
·[b]I don’t live on the Cape, but about halfway between Boston and the Cape. It takes me less than 30 minutes to get over the bridge!

2)How long have you been married?
·I just celebrated my 3rd anniversary with my darling husband the other day, as a matter of fact!

3) How are you adjusting to your family expanding?
·Well, I surprised myself and was a little nervous at first, but now I am excited, and frankly quite ready for this pregnancy to be over!

4)How did u find out about Jamaicans.com
·I found it myself while surfing for something to alleviate my post-Jamaica depression.

5)Which forum do you enjoy most
·Hhhm. Hard to say. I guess technically, it would be Ackee & Saltfish, because of the Morning Ride. I enjoy reading others, like Westside Wanderings. K & J and General Discussion. Actually, I guess I read most, except Sports and a couple of others.

6)What are your favorite Jamaican dishes
·I am not very well versed I am afraid. I had tons of fresh seafood dishes, which were probably my favorite, along with my beloved mangoes.I didn't get the real name of things

7)When last have you been to Jamaica?
I was there in May with my husband on our long awaited “real” honeymoon. We travel around the States frequently, and had gone on a quick cruise in January, but Jamaica was what we were waiting for.

8)Have you connected with other Jamaicans in your home state since returning from Jamaica.
·Only if you count conversing in PM with other members of JA.com from Mass, and I am not even sure if any of them are Jamaican for sure. I found out that there is a regional group very close to me that is starting a support newspaper of sorts….waiting to hear more about it. I was deeply touched by the Jamaican people.

9)If yes to #8 what was the experience like?
10) If #8 & #9 would you do it again?
·Slightly out of your context, I can and do communicate with friends I made in Jamaica.

10)What is your favorite color?
· Depends on the context, and it can change based on moods. Perpetual favorites are blue and green.

11)What colors do you work with most for interior decorating?
· Well, it depends on my client…I don’t think I work with one more than others, although I do love neutrals in sumptuous fabrics.

13) Would you become a trading spaces decorator if given the chance? Why or Why not?
·Absolutely! Because it can be done. You don’t need to spend a fortune to have well done spaces that reflect your personality. My only hesitation is the time restriction.

14) What do you do for fun with your family?
· We love to hang out and talk and eat, watch movies, take little day trips and travel. My husband travels most of the time, so regular old family time is cherished.

15) How close are other family members to your home? Is this a good or bad thing?
My siblings and I all live within 15 miles of each other and my parents. This is by design, while my parents are still with is. We are all very close, and spend a fair amount of time together. My sister, sister-in-law and I all belong to a womens’ friends/social group.

16) How do you get your inspiration for decorating?
·The house, the space, the clients lifestyle, and their own cherished possessions. It is usually obvious right away which direction it needs to go in.

17) What is your favorite meal? Can you make it?
· Hard to say, I have so many, but yes, I am a fairly decent cook and can pretty much make what I love. Roast Chicken is really one of my faves. I haven’t attempted Sushi, though it is on my agenda for after the baby is born.

18) Do you have a favorite time of year? What is it?
·I guess it would be Spring, because I can get back out into the garden. I love Spring, Summer and Autumn though, and like Winter until after the Holidays. After that, I wait for March, the New England Flower Show and Spring.

19) How many languages do you speak? What are they?
Sadly, only one, in spite of having been told (via testing)I have the aptitude and capacity for several. I studies French and Latin in HS. It is a long term goal to become fluent in something.

·20) Say 'R' not 'ahh' for R 3 times please
· I do have a Boston accent, but it is not as pronounced as some (like the Kennedy’s for example). Also, having a couple of close people that are not from here keeps me on my toes to at least make an attempt.

1. How many trips have you taken to JA?
Just one glorious one so far, but we decided while we were there that we wanted to choose that place for our little getaway shack! The only other palce that came remotely close to the way I felt was a trip to St. Croix, and I wanted to move there at the time.

2. What areas in JA did you stay in?
MoBay and Little Bay, Westmoreland. Spent some time in Negril from there.

3. Name one thing that happened on a trip to JA that you will never forget
I'm not sure I could pick one thing out....there are so many. I guess one thing I could talk about was finding an inner peace that I hadn't had in years. Maybe I will get a chance to talk a little more about specific things I did later.

4. If there is one thing in life that you have experienced and was able to change, what would you change the outcome to be?
Hhhmm, there are so many. As wonderful and blessed as my life has been, I have made some bad decisions along the way....I think it would go back to the year after high school. I would do whatever it took to enroll in college full-time days, instead of going for years at night....

If you are asking me why I chose Green Biscuit, it is my husband's nickname for me (he has many). Biscuit is a term of endearment, of sorts, used my Midwesterners in the US. The Green part is refelective of my Irish heritage.

I gave up my corporate career a few years ago (I think 3 now). Now I am a Mom and a a part-time Interior Decorator. (Thanks for the compliment, G2!)

Well, eating is my favorite pasttime....I love alot of things. Sushi, Italian, Seafood, Chicken Steak, almost eerything. I love to try new things, too. There is very little I don't like, except fast food and bad food.
