I had a sonogram to determine my due date...when Doc Tomlinson asked if I wanted to know the sex I said no...but I want to see the sonogram. So he turned the monitor toward me but covered the groin area with his hand...that gave it away. That it was a boy!

4. Has your mother taken any trips to JA? Yes, twice, once after I had been there a year...and once when Kyle was 3 months old
5. How old were u on that pic? Boy not sure...I would guess about a year
6. Where do u see yourself in the next 5 years? Still working (unless I win the lottery) and trying to deal with a 13 year old boy and his hormones
7. What are some of your favorite foods? EVERYTHING Jamaican...God I miss the food...plus I love Mexican food and ALL Seafood.
8. What is your fondest memory of living in JA? OUr Sunday morning drives early in the morning up into the Hills of St. Mary. It was a ritual we did almost every week. It was our only day off from work so we made the most of it...then we would come home and cook like we had a family of 12...and it was just the two of us (until Kyle came along of course)
9. What is your favorite color? Green
10. How did u come to find JA.com? was trying to find a friend who I had lost touch with...typed in Jamaicans in my search and there was this sight...Life hasnt beent he same since.

Born in Bremerton, Washington (just outside of Seattle). I lived here all my life until 1990....went to Jamaica...moved there lived in Ocho Rios for 7+ years. Have one son...Kyle who was born in Ochi and is 8 years old. We now live back in Bremerton...for now anyway. I am not married...would like to be, but also love my freedom and have grown used to making my own decisions without having to consult with someone else. It will take a very special man with alot of patience to make it "work".Comment

My father passed away in 1990 after a long at home battle with cancer...my sister and I in need of cleansing the sorrow from our lives took a trip to JA. We stayed at an all inclusive, my sister was content to stay there and not leave but I had this magnetic pull that made me want to experience everything I could about the island. I left wanting more. Shortly after returning home, I decided to use my small inheretance to do some REAL traveling. I had listened to my father spend the last three months of his life talking about all the places he had never been and things he had never done and I decided that I was young single and able...so GO FOR IT cause none of us are gauranteed a tomorrow. So I headed to Jamaica as a starting point for a three month excursion around the entire caribbean. I had found an island hopping package on BWIA for $350 that had to be purchased on your starting and ending island..but other than that you could hit as many islands as you wanted. After 3 weeks on the island...I went to a travel agent to buy my ticket and found that Jamaica was the ONLY island not part of the package....SO, I was basically stuck there. I had to use that $350 to get to St. Criox for a 10 day stay I was committed to but other than that I had 3 months on the island by myself. After my three months....I came home, shortly after that got a call offering me a job so I packed up, sold what I could and headed back. When my son was 2, we decided that things were just too tough, that we wanted him to be able to know his family here and living in JA would not allow us to travel to the US very often due to the low salary's. LIving here allows us to be able to travel down to JA at least once a year...sometimes twice. I miss it...My son wishes we could live there....who knows maybe someday
What do you do for a living? I am an Asistant Administrator for a large Radiology clinic. I am in charge of the Billing Dept., All licensing and contracting and also all PR and Marketing.
What are your hobbies? Traveling with my son, Basketball games (we have season tickets to the Sonics) and my son plays on a team, Scrapbooking, cooking, gardening. Guess thats it.
