I am thinking that some folks aren't happy in their own skin and never will be...

But then again, I could be reading too much into it...

Nunya, yuh kno dem hav di flip side tuh yuh noh. Some light skin people out deh who resent dem parents caa dem cause dem fi bawn wid pale skin, and wish dem did bawn real dark instead. Dem every relationship is wid di darkest mate dem caa find caa dem noh waa dem pickney fi come out light dem.
