I did not observe a sky color other than blue. Perhaps if one were to fly at altitudes above those which are flown by most commercial jumbo jets, ( > 11 km or 35-40k feet), one would begin to notice a darkening of the sky due to the reduced density of air and the diminished strength of Rayleigh scattering. As one were to transition from the troposphere to the stratosphere and mesosphere, the darkening of the sky would become much more pronounced until the view outside the window would be indistinguishable from the view from space.
