Re: A Prayer for Kumba1
Morning from the UK to all who have sent me their prayers and thoughts. It's the middle of the night here and I have just woken up from a morphine enduced sleep. Came out of hospital today (Friday) after 3 weeks. Had the operation but things were far more serious than the surgeons first thought. It appears the cancer has spread either from my overies to my bowel or the other way. Feeling very weak and tired. Climbing stairs is like climbing everest. But hopefully with rest and good food (which I havn't had for nearly 3 months) I will regain a lot of my strength. Then its chemo. This is all new to me. I have never really been ill in my life. If it has taught me one thing it's what Jesus told us "Do not be anxious over anything". I am just taking each day as it comes and dealing with what that day has to throw at me, good and bad. There is nothing in this life that is worth getting angry, upset, hurt over but plenty to give thanks for. The birds singing, the flowers blooming, the rain falling from the sky, the children laughing in all their innocence.
I won't be posting very often just yet, but I will keep in touch. My love goes out to you all
