BTW I think my sis is taking it the hardest, as I knew she would. After all she's been thru in the past 7 months, this was a little much on her emotionally. She's just getting her hair back and her daddy's gone. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70361-embarassed.gif[/img]

He kept asking her (at the hospital) if she was done with her treatments. She told him she was all done and feeling great. He said that was good and but asked again a few minutes later. He was heavily medicated by then.

But I think it made it easier for him to let go. The rest of us are in good health. And doing as well as we can.

I understand what your sister means. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] There is no advice on how to handle this because each relationship is different, and each person deals with separation differently.

Cry every darn time you feel like it. Scream if you must! If you need to talk to a friend about it, don't fret about being a burden or bringing other people down because true friends understand. If the grief becomes unbearable, don't be afraid to seek professional help or counseling or a support group.

Just remember that some how, some way, billions of other people have made it through this and some how, some way, you will too. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]ray:

I have to admit, if there's one thing we've no shortage of, it's good friends to hold us up in good times and bad. My family is lucky that way.

Everyone is holding up well. Today will be tough, but we come from tough people.
