But to tell you the truth the majority of ppl weh mi know get dip are living pretty well...and one time de police ar whoever did seh is not mostly deprtee a duh de crime a de ppl weh live dung deh...a suh mi did read one time.

Not only that what reason would Jamaica have to investigate, lock up, or in anyway shape or form harass deportees?

Jamaica deport anyone who breaks their laws so it is hardly likely that they can say we are not accepting Jamaicans who are returned to their place of birth.

There is no empirical proof that deportees are responsible for the high crime rates.

The most dangerous offenders that are Jamaican citizens are not deported back to Jamaica or have much hope of ever seeming the outside of a jail cell in their natural lifetime. Anthony Malvo and Vivian Blake will never be a problem to the USA much more Jamaica unless they somehow escape their confinement.

I'm sure he'd try to make Jamaica PAY. I thought I had heard a few years back that when Guyana refused the US sent them any way.

What if the USA was to target every man woman and child that completed their sentences in prison then promptly re-arrest them as soon as they left prison, worse what if they were black and the offence was of a very minor nature?

I could well imagine the outcry.
This is what some posters here are asking the Jamaican Government to do to lock up or detain deportees for no other reason that they are deported back to Jamaica back to Jamaica.

The same posters who are saying this is a USA problem and that the offenders should not be deported are the ones saying that the Jamaican Government should promptly arrest them just as soon as they touch the Jamaican soil.

Why not supply some proof that the deportees are the cause of the violence in Jamaica?
Maybe then a case could be made for the summary elimination of anyone who is deported to Jamaica

why? why work 9-5 and get 400 per week when i can walk down main street and make 1000-5000 a week and not have to worry about the cops cuz they are probably looking for tings too. Only when an election or people start to compalin do the police do something. why bust you back working hard dealing with stoooooopid people and cant tell the fi (*(***)*off you have to endure the racial slers and negative attitueds and really cant do anything about it a dealer can bax down some one if they want and that customer will still come back no money lost

Now my thought is this, why shouldnt a man work from 9-5 and do an honests days work. why should he feel that he has to do something dishonest likka this, and ruin people's childrens lives (yes, I said it..) Ruin other hard working childrens lives to make your life a little bit more comfortable. No sir. The bible talks about a *sloth ful man* (lazy man) and sista, this attitude is a lazy man's attitude..
