I don't think the marriage will be annulled. I don't think he will be deported. I don't think the prenup will stand. Here is why...

She was a way past grown woman and he was not by US standards, a legal adult. There is no indication that their marriage was a fraud from the beginning - she indicated that it started falling apart a few years ago. Her biggest fame and earnings came from Stella, the book, the movie, and the speaking engagements. He deserves a reasonable settlement.

If anyone should sue, it should be all the wannabe Stellas who got taken to the cleaners in the wake of her book.

I don't feel that the wannabe Stella's should be allowed to sue, it's a nice jester, but most of these wannabe Stella's allow themselves to be taken to the cleaners. Being a full pledge adult I have experience in the games that people play and so I never allowed myself to be taken for a ride. No one should ever let love blind them to the point where you have to file bankruptcy, in which I know of such a case as this. Yes, sometimes desperate women take desperate measures just to have a man and those women need to get a grip on themselves. Again love is blind and some wannabe Stella's can't see the forest for the trees and all you have to do is just say: NO! and kick his butt to the curb!

Remember, like I said in my other threads--you have some successful marrriage/relationships and some not so successful but in any case just follow your instincts and use your head and not your heart.

CNN isn't running this story b/c Terry is 'such a big star' b/c really, she isn't. They're running this story b/c of the subject matter and b/c it's embarassing to the Black entertainment community. Same reason why they drove Halle Berry through the mud during her divorce.

Had Terry and that boy mutually agreed to seperate for non-descript irreconcilable differences, CNN wouldn't care about any of this. Of course we, in the community, would b/c we feel that Terry is our girl, but the Media Machine wouldn't have anything to say about it.

Agreed. Even if the prenup stands, the money she made while they were marrid, should be split.

The WBS wouldn't have noh case either.

Well to be honest I think they both used each other, he may have used her for a better life and she used him to write her book about their experience. Now, she's just p"d that she was publicly humiliated, rejection is a motha.
