The cut; the stitching; the quality of materials used; is important to me and I find these generally better in designer goods.

Yep, I'm a designer junkie! [/qb]
I have a Dooney and Burke croc embossed purse that is worth every flipping cent (I did catch a sale though). I hate cheap purses because the stitching doesn't hold, they lose shape etc. I also have 3 Coach bags and the leather is like butter. These purses last until you just get sick of them. It is not about the name - it's just that I know which name brands I can trust for quality.
Rena Rowlins and Jones of NY clothes fit like they were custom made for me. Lauren is well made, but the fit is not designed for us biggbootiecuties. The waist to hip ratio is not designed for my shape.
Name brands also include Levi - some of the best made jeans ever.
SueSamba - what is a pound store and where can I find one?
