When did you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour? I committed my life to God on July 14, 1998 - so seven years now

Where are you today in your walk? I am blessed and highly favored.

Tell us about your church experiences. Did you grow up in the church? I did not grow up in church, but I did go to church occasionally as a child. I was invited to an Apostolic church by a friend and there I fell in love with God and instantly commited to service in ministry.

Are you involved with any ministries? If so, please share. -- Yes, many. Most passionate about Youth and Music minitry.. Youth Director and Choir Director

What would you say has been the most positive thing about being a Christian? The peace.. I have become less aggressive since I committed my way unto the Lord. And as mentioned by JD, I am at peace with almost everybody. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Would you recommend a relationship with Christ to non-believers? Why? Yes, to gain peace.. It passes all understanding. The power to live life without regret… To have that contentment of 'not wanting to be anywhere else than where you are' at any given moment. (heard someone say this on Oprah the other day and I could relate to every word

Do you have spiritual mentors? I am always being mentored but the Godly ways of people… each one teach one

Is there a special calling on your life? If so and you so desire, please discuss. - Yes there is… But please be patient with me, God is not through with me yet …. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

What are your Scripture reading habits? I do not have a scheduled time to read but I read every time I am inspired to… Inspiration comes from anything.. Could be an emotion could be situation, I read quite freqently...

How would you describe your prayer life? How often do you pray? Do you seek God’s direction in all aspects of your life? - My prayer life is more like a constant discussion with a friend. I pray through out the day.. Always seeking God's will for every step.

Would you share a story about someone you've brought to Christ, if so? I am not sure I have a story to share.. God calls, we have that choice to answer. I am only a vessel.. Mi noh *do* nuttin..

Do you have an accountability partner? -- Honestly, I have no idea what that is.. I have never heard this term in my life.. You meet at least once a week to discuss how you did in overcoming. Be honest with one another. The more honest you are the better you will be in overcoming"… So I guess.. my husband and church family. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] ..

What is your favourite book and why? --- the Bible… not cliché to me but honestly… I know this is not question you asked but I am lead to say this, I hope I can articulate myself clearly. - I have accomplished some things in my life with no *real* formal training.. It is simply amazing to me.. When, seeminly impossible, challenges are set before me, I would excersize what I have read.. Scriptures would pop in my head to motivate me to try and with this focus I have achieved some impossible feats.(The anointing teaches all things..[i]1 Jhn 2:27/i]) I am a living testimony that ..I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 - His words are true, he promises goodness. God's Word... shall not return unto Him void, .Isaiah 55:11  And my life is intructed by God's Word. I am doing well so far, no complaints.. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Do you listen to secular music? If so, what type? I don’t get into the car and turn it on but I don't blast hellfire against it.. I have a love for music but my preferance is Gospel. Smooth jazz, roots and lovers rock appeal to me most. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Today's music don't appeal to me as much as the songs I grew up with.

Do you have a favorite gospel artist? If so, who and why? No favorite at this time... I have in my player: Tonex, Carlton, Donnie, Marvia and.. well I have a good collection so..the right song for the right mood .
