When did you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour?
I did it in 95 when in my senior year of High School. Got baptized then, too.

Where are you today in your walk?
I am jus doing what is absolutely necessary to pursue the destiny the Lord has set up for me. Breaking it down? – I’m just doing what I gotta do.

Tell us about your church experiences. Did you grow up in the church?
Yeah, I grew up in church. Was singing since I was like 8. I used to lead services all by self since I was 5. Oh yeah, right dung a Berry Dale in Porus Clarendon. Mi antie seh she woulda stay dung a road and here a clap sing and play.....all by maasaylf.

Are you involved with any ministries? If so, please share.
Yes. I am currently the Asst. Director for our Worship (one of 5 departments) Department. I head the musicians (instrumental part of the Praise & Worship Team) and band leader for the New PeaceMakers.

What would you say has been the most positive thing about being a Christian?
I’d have to say it’s the fact that I have the opportunity to make every moment of my life count towards the building of the everlasting Kingdom. Yesssss – it feels good. When I ain’t got no tuition I can just chill cause the Lord is the One that sent me here. I didn’t choose this lol – funny right. Sweeet Jesus!! Hallellujah!!!! Can I get ma praise on up in here!!! I don’t need no band!!!!! Lol Amen – aright simma simma.

Would you recommend a relationship with Christ to non-believers? Why?
I would give you a more emphatic “YEAH” but then I’d be sinning. Most def. No one desires to waste their time doing something that doesn’t really matter. Only what is done for the Lord will last.

Do you have spiritual mentors?
Yes. One is a she. She encourages me in my Leadership role, responsibilities and decision-making. My pastor helps me a lot in just depositing wisdom, encouragement and fatherhood.

Is there a special calling on your life? If so and you so desire, please discuss.
You are absolutely killing me here lol – yess man!! Nuh muss. I am called to be a WorshipRaiser – ring a bell? Right now I’m just goin to school so I can intelligently lead people in the instrumental/musical aspect of things. When that’s done then it’s all up to the Lord. For example – I learned about non-harmonic tones in school. Well, last nite in prayer meeting, while someone was praying, the Lord gave me this song and there were many “non-harmonic” tones in it making de ting sound rich and ting. Mi bwoy pan de bass guitar juss didda smile yaah man.

What are your Scripture reading habits?
Lately I have been reading the Daily Bread everyday. I have experienced the Lord just leading me to a srtipture. But I wanna hear Him on a daily basis. Read not just what is prescribed but to see what lead up to that “ACCOUNT” (not story – story mek up and is what someone thought happened). To God be the Glory.

How would you describe your prayer life? How often do you pray? Do you seek God’s direction in all aspects of your life?
It could be better – but it has come a looooong way. I no longer fall asleep……on a regular basis. I pray every day. Not jus for mercies and blessings, but for His will to be done in it’s entirety. Not the permissive but the Ultimate! Do I seek direction? Well Him pull mi up recently. Mi guh paan intaview widout asking him if mi did wen fi guh. But mi learn mi lesson. And I shall be talking to Him bout everyting else.

Would you share a story about someone you've brought to Christ, if so?
My sister. Oh Jesus. How I pray fi dat girl. Mi love ar like cook food. She currently sings soprano in the band that I manage/teach. This girl was fresh – no mannas, call me all kinda names when mi used to prepare breakfast fi ar guh school and ting. Every mawnin, milk and OJ or some kyna juice, wid sopm else. Walk ar 12 yr old self guh sckool and dem mi gaah work. Den pick ar up from school when it was winta time (shi did jus come). But mi pray and pray and pray and pray. And Youth convention in Syrauce de pickney bruk out…..in Jesas Name. Now she leads worship. She’s 18 – she calmed me down big time when I was walking out of a rehearsal – hug mi up and ting and cheer mi up wid encouragement. But shi still get pan mi nerves….dats anadda story. So one a mi church madda she, PDB – memba how u prayed for her – so when she get pan u nerves jus seh “Tank You Jesus” Sister how can I help you. LOL


Do you have an accountability partner?
Yeah, ma boys. Musicians and worship leaders alike. Not necc at my church but we in the same ministries in our respective churches.

What is your favourite book and why?
I must the Bible – it’s life – it’s my manual. I pray one day that I will be found Holy before the Father, just because the Word is hidden in ma heart and shown in the way I live. Awmen!

Do you listen to secular music? If so, what type?
Oh yeah – mos definitely – u shocked right? Well anything that is required for my text is what I listen to. Nuttin else – sorry. Nah tek dat back – mi nuh sorry.

Do you have a favourite gospel artist? If so, who and why? BTW, did I tell you that I saw Donnie at MegaFest?
Moving right along (shuwaaf) My favorites are Fred Hammond & (people always forget) Radical For Christ (RFC), Richard Smallwood and Vision, Donnie McClurkin and His BGV’s, Israel Houghton and New Breed (The Tightest Band Around Today)

What do you feel are your areas for greatest spiritual and personal growth?
Hearing the Lord’s voice, spiritual healing where parents are concerned, LOVING people who have hurt me…just to name a couple.

Kinda, but then the Lord usually reveals some truth to me so mi nuh worry when mi doubt anything anymore.
