Kingy awoke to banging at his back door. He looked over to his clock 11 a.m. He had overslept. He hopped out of bed and grabbed his crutch and headed to the back door. There stood Newtral and a couple of his officers. "What's da problem?"
"We found her." Newtral said, as he adjusted his sun glasses. Kingy looked up towards Phatty's house and saw them removing a body bag from the cellar.
"Is that..." He didn't want to utter it. He just pointed.
"No, no...sadly...it's Tanya." Just then Kingy could see Bizi collapse as they zipped the bag for her to see. Newtral looked back saw what happened and rushed to be by her side. Kingy walked out on the grass towards the ambulance. They were about to load Phatty into it.
"Is she going to be okay?" Kingy asked as the paramedics adjusted her I.V.
"She's really dehydrated and she hadn't been taken care of so well. She was in a pile of her own mess." The paramedic shook his head and slammed the door shut. "Let's just say we made it on time." He walked around to the front and drove of towards the hospital.
TLC stood by the cellar door frozen. Her eyes bloodshot from crying. Kingy walked over and held her in his embrace. "It's okay, she's fine."
"She was right there the whole time." She said through sobs. "Right here."
"Look what's important now that she's safe and we find who did this."
"Well I have a couple ideas." TLC said as she watched the morgue's van drive off.
"Well i'm sure Newtral has a couple of ideas himself." Kingy replied.
"So do we." ILP said from behind. Derob sighed as he was tired of never getting to say the smart [censored] quips. "Do you mind sir if we speak to TLC in private?"
"No, no problem, i'm going to go get ready to go to the hospital. Wait for me TLC?"
"Yeah, sure." She responded. TLC then leaned against the house and took a deep breath.
"You can end the charade." Derob said, happy to call her out before ILP.
"What? What are you talking about?" TLC asked with a surprised look on her face.
"Well just to let u know that if you didn't run out of the moonlight last night we would have caught up to you. The reflectors at the side of your pants?" ILP indicated.
TLC shoulders suddenly became relaxed. "Well it's just for you to prove now isn't it." TLC said with a smirk.
"Your smart i'll give you that. There's not much evidence around here, but i'm sure Phatty would have some information for us. So I wouldn't be so sure of my freedom."
"Well ILP you're smart, but maybe not smart enough. If you don't mind excusing me i'm going to go visit my friend at the hospital." she said as she let a tear roll down her cheeks. She walked off.
"These country girls are dangerous aren't they?" Derob said as he watched TLC walk away.
"Yeah, the one at the restaurant still look appealing to you?"

Days passed and Phatty recovered quickly. After eating and a warm bath, she was already feeling great after the first day. Newtral was told by Phatty that she knew her captor by scent. Only one stood out the other never wore anything, (TLC quickly changed her perfume). Newtral stopped by the hospital with the blouse Tanya was wearing the night of her death.
"Hello Phatty, how you feeling?"
"After what I've been through, great."
"Well, first i'm going to thank you for your cooperation so far. It must not have been easy going over the past few weeks."
"No problem, whatever gets me justice."
"I want you to mell this shirt, if you don't mind, and tell me what you smell." Phatty watched ast Newtral removed the blood stained shirt from the bag. Her heart raced as he brought it close to her face. The scent of Poison filled her nostrils as a tear streaked down her face.
"That's it, that's the scent." Phatty said as she pushed it away from her face.
"Thank you." He placed his sunglasses on and grabbed the bag and walked out.

"It is not a open and shut case!!!" Bizi yelled at her husband that night. "Tanya is innocent!"
"Tanya is also dead and cannot tell us why she was at Phatty's home that night."
"Well she called with a concern that same night, if only I could figure out what it was pertaining too."
"Look i'm the detective here not you! Now I want you to listen, and listen good. Now, I believe Tanya is a sweet person, but not capable of attempted murder. Let's think about it though. Look at Dahjah, she would have been in jail for drugging the man if his stupid girlfriend didn't tamper with the evidence. Now let's say Tanya didn't do it and the killer is still out there. They're not stupid do you want the same fate as her?!"
Bizi sat at the table quietly, frozen. The picture of Tanya's bloody face stuck in her head. She placed her head down on the table and sobbed.

Speng, Nylah, and Mutty stood in Phatty's room. Mutty stood over Phatty with his arms crossed in front of his chest. "You feel better princess?" He asked with sarcasm.
"Much better. Love you too."
"Well i'm not here to waste my time. We won't be here a lot we're still working on your dream. Ain't that a shame." He kissed her on her forehead anyway.
"Well I want you to get as much rest as possible. The restaurant is almost done. I want you there for opening night. I've already sent out invitations to big names in the city. You'll have people vacationing in Jamaicom, just so they can have your food."
"Thanks you guys I can't tell how much I appreciate you guys." Phatty said as her eyes welled up with tears.
"Anytime girl anytime." Nylah answered.
"Any of your time, don't offer my time!" Mutty said as he walked over to the window.

TLC sat in her office putting the last finishes on the layout of tables in Phatty's restaurant. She stood back and stared at the sketches. "Son of a [censored]!!!" She yelled and knocked a cup of her supplies to the floor. "Damn it!!" There was a knock at her door. She walked over to answer it.
There stood ILP and Derob. "Don't you city slickers have anything to do other than harass me?"
"Well we thought since you're vacationing from kidnapping we'd ask you just a few questions out of curiousity."
"Go ahead." TLC said rolling her eyes.
"Well we couldn't help but to notice that morning you smelled a lot like my favorite fragrance Poison."
"Yeah so?"
"Well did you know that's the same perfume that Tanya, Phatty's kidnapper, wore? Actually we stopped at the shop while it was being cleaned and noticed the magazine opened to the page with the sample of the perfume, but yet she doesn't own the bottle at home."
"Well she was known for being cheap what can I say?"
"And also for her frame how was she able to handle Phatty all by herself, she had to have an accomplice."
"It's nice that you came with all these questions. Their cute too with their implications and all." TLC said guiding them to the front door. "But did you know that the case is already closed. Here when Newtral say its over it's over. I would go home. Now you guys come back now you hear?" TLC closed the door in their faces.
"Well you heard the woman." ILP said flipping her notepad closed.
"What? We're just gonna leave it out there like that?" Derob argued.
"What else can we do. We've snooped all around the town. The girl or girls are smarter than we thought. Things like this happen in small towns Derob. They want to go back to feeling safe."
"Ain't that some..." Derob's voice trailed off as he entered the car.

Kingy showed up at Phatty's room and sat in the chair next to her bed. She turned to look at him. "Hey what's up?"
"Nothing much. Just thinking."
"About?"
"How a girl could run away from me for years come back and to get rid of me she fakes her own kidnapping."
"Well Kingy you're not all that great looking." They both laughed. He grabbed her hand and pressed his lips to it.
"Mi nah let yuh han go this time doah." He said referring to the way he let her hand slip out of his the first time he left.
"Don't, please don't." Phatty said with a sigh. "Or dem wi tek mi weh again." They laughed.

Months passed and Phatty recovered fully. She was at her best at the opening of her restaurant. Many supporters flowed into the town of Jamaicom to eat her wonderful food.
TLC continued to be close by her side pretending to be her good friend. Will she plot again? No one knows. All ILP could do was warn Phatty, but as usual Phatty refuses to listen, 'TLC? No, she's a great friend.' she thought as she went over in her mind the warnings ILP gave her. TLC was everywhere, making sure everything was running right. Coolbeans watched her and thought how crazy she must be and how weird.
Things weren't working well between Dahjah and TLC though. When Tanya's autopsy report came back and said she was pregnant. Fainted. They still live together, but maybe not for long. Dahjah is trying to explain to her how it wasn't under his control.
Derob joined Boopie at the bar and talked all night, I think he'll be in Jamaicom often. Yeah she work fi Phatty now, she is much nicer and the checks are too [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif[/img].
Bizi closed shop and showed up for the grand opening. Phatty and her greeted at the door and exchanged looks that made peace. Gen gave Phatty a dirty look in passing as she followed closely behind Bizi.
Phatty sat behind the restaurant on the balcony. Kingy came out to see her looking over the banister. "Be careful you might fall!" He said pulling her gently off the banister. He looked at her face that looked flushed, "you okay?"
"I have something to tell you."
"What? You had too much to drink you know." Kingy said turning her to face him.
"I haven't been drinking, I can't." Kingy looked at her confused for a moment and realization finally hit him.
"Really?! Oh my God!" He hugged her tightly. Phatty was excited that he took it so well. He held her at arms length to get a good look at her. She bent over and threw up all over his shoe. Kingy raised his head in disgust.
"Just another month and a half of this." She said as put her hands on her knees.
"Looking forward to it." Kingy grimaced as he pulled her up to stand.

So, for now all is calm at Jamaicom. The silent rivalry will continue i'm sure, but that's...another story [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wavey.gif[/img]
