I know you have to go via St.Lucia(?)...

any info (B&B etc) welcome!!!
(a bed is enough, can find me own breakfast!!)

went there once, small and quaint. did not eat any of the food after they told me mountain chicken was one of the favrite dishes

You can go Liat via St. Lucia. Liat runs like a bus really around the Eastern islands stopping in places like St Lucia (vigie), Dominica, Antigua, Barbados, Trinidad. Just bear in mind - we dub LIAT a couple ways - <span style="text-decoration: underline">L</span>eave <span style="text-decoration: underline">I</span>sland <span style="text-decoration: underline">A</span>ny <span style="text-decoration: underline">T</span>ime and/or <span style="text-decoration: underline">L</span>ingering <span style="text-decoration: underline">I</span>nteresting <span style="text-decoration: underline">A</span>romas <span style="text-decoration: underline">T</span>hroughout. Still a good airline though.

There are couple BBs around. I stayed with friends in Roseau when I went there. There is one place I saw that I thought was pretty nice. They were Beach Cottages, Picard I think. There is also Anchorage, which is more &quot;hotelly&quot;.

There are other Rainforests in the caribeban which you may venture- St Kitts, St. Lucia (3 mins from Dominica), Tobago, Puerto Rico, and several more.

coming from your neck of the woods maybe it might be easier to go thru Martinique..then you can even take a ferry to Dominica..its about an hour and a half by boat.

Define good airline. How you manage? I guess it was because i had only been traveling in larger planes but my first experience in liat was a horror and i didnt consume the returning ticket. I was sure I was smelling the benzine or what ever it is they use in such planes. watching the two pilots switch buttons wasn't all assuring, seeing the propeller stop at times and then reverse was scary especially over sea. I felt like I was flying on an old bus seat - the fold out kind.
And to think i had the shortest route, Guadeloupe - Antigua(20min), but not me again, I'd rather take boat.
