Attorney charged with hate crime in attack on teenager in Barbados

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (AP) - A Barbadian man and his son have been charged for allegedly beating a black teenager as the victim walked through an upscale Bridgetown suburb.

Mark Goodridge, a 53-year-old attorney of mixed-race ancestry, was charged Tuesday with assault and inciting racial hatred. His 23-year-old son, Simon Goodridge, has been charged with assault.

During the alleged attack, which witnesses said left the 15-year-old boy crumpled on the street, police said Goodridge shouted a racial epithet. The victim was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.

The motive for the October 6 attack was unclear.
Racially charged violence is rare in the Caribbean island of Barbados, where about 90 per cent of the 280,000 people are black.

As I was saying before I was 'rudely interrupted', [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] in these communities where whites are in the minorities.
They create alliances with 'near whites,and these 'near whites' usually act out racism against the blacks much more agressively than the whites.
as a matter of fact they are the attack dogs used by the whites,to create distract the blacks from who are the real instigators.
These attack dogs do so to earn their position in the social community.
it does not matter whether they are highly educated or professionally endowed. Their economic dependence and self esteem,makes it difficult to grow a back bone.

Let me see if the local politiocians and judiciary will; squash it.
I always post this under belly of barbados,but many of you insinuate that I am bias against the country.
