anyone been to anguilla?

i was reading an article that most of their resort industry is black-owned...& you don't see beaches where locals are not welcome...
interesting...i want to see this for myself

i was in anguilla several years ago.. probably... like 8 or so.... i loved the beach i stayed on... was black owned property......

what i most remember is that the shelling there was fantastic.. was like finding treasure on the beach all day long.. i mean glorious glorious tropical shells... my pockets would be so full.. and id be bent down all day....

there were several gorgeous beaches.... but i didnt really like the island itself.. very very dry.. shrubby... not that interesting a terrain at all..... was pretty $$ to eat...

only a 20 minute ferry to st maartin from there... did that once for a likkle bit.. had been on st maartin years prior as a kid... only stayed in town ... had a ten year old at the time...

anguilla .. while maybe black owned properties.. is still a home for the rich and famous.. they love a lot of the resorts there....

saw kevin bacon twice with his wife.....

hey and you need a small plane to go there.. from puerto rico... or wherever i was.. we took off in a storm.. and i was not a happy camper.. lol
