All I know is that Equador is at the roof of the Andean world. They also produce the most bananas per acre. The Galapagos Islands have some giant tortoises inhabiting the land.
Equador I thought was predominantly Inca but after seeing their soccer team at World Cup 2006 in Germany there are many Black people who are Equadoran. -

I have friends from there but they wanted to know where specifically you were going or wanted to go...or are you open to suggestions ?Comment

Geneva, it would be open for suggestions. Ecuador sounds like a nice country to visit, with access to Peru and Colombia. The Galapagos would be an option, even though it'd be cold there...that I can't deal with. Any suggestions from your friends would be helpful and appreciated.Comment
