Can we have some opinions?
After reading Hamilton Daley's article, "Part 1: Slavery had a silver lining," I'm even more convinced that we, the Caribbean people of African descent, should receive some kind of monetary reparation for our victimization under slavery. Panama and the Panama Rail Road and the Panama Canal are good examples of what happens if we do not hold the States and powers that be responsible for the continual enslavement of Black people even after abolition and to present day.
