anybody eva go a Kingston airport?

mi come awf a di plane there once a few years back and told myself that i wouldn't do it no more [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] it was the time that a flight had just come in from Cayman so nuff vendors did deh bout di place an ting [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

i haven't been back since. but i wanna know whether or not the atmosphere has changed. is it similar to MoBay? worse? better?

let me know what u who have been there recently think please.

It is still the same as horrible as ever an mi nuh see dem a try mek ei anybetta...immigration is never a problem to me...is dem blastid custom officers...dem terrible...mi she mi would neva fly into Kingston again.

I ongle evea use Kingston becyar is de nearest to me yard. Me just cut me yeye parse dem bad mine be-havya. De ogle ting me cyar badda wid ah de Red Cap dem. Dem picky and choosy an faysti, so till me no baddah wid dem agen.

Kingston is just as fine an airport as any to land... just find that immigration is slower than bloody....H-ll and the walk to it.. seems endless.. definitely need a suitcase with wheels.. or someone strong.

Was intransit there in June, astonished at the changes. The waiting lounge has ben ex-paaa-n-ded, but still small..I guess cauzing there were soo many flights leaving that day. I was also impressed that they now have TV screens to view flights, departure time and gate..wow!!

Mobay has undergone a renovation that is noteworthy. The renovation is still underway btw..work contracted to a Canadian..I think...who sounds as if he knows his thing. In fact he did say that when it is finished it will be able to compete with any major airporte internationally.

I was impressed with the departure lounge, juss board yuh plane without the long walk to the plane as in Kingston..The layout is nice...shopping and the like..

Te lounge for incoming passengers is about the same, and the Customs was verry sloooww... and backward, ie no computers to check certain items...the poor girl was dere flipping through dogeared papers..odda dan dat, it was okay..

..it was crowded the day I left, [Kgn 'port] so wid so many ppl, it did look suhmall...clarification..

btw, things have changed at M-Bay as well, if suhmaddie comes to get you by vehicle, dem can't park outside, they have to drive up and pick yuh up...at least that what it seemed to me...subject to karreckshan..there is parking across the street, meaning seh if they park there, yuh haf to drag yuh luggage across the street..same thing when yuh coming back..dem haff to park and yuh bring yuh sinting across da road to the dep'chure area..

Well me an dem war ova one satellite dish weh mi did a tek fi mi combolo laas year caw mi neva waan drop money pon di customs bredda fi mek it gwaan pass the tax man dem. Mi did tell dem seh di dish was non-functional an was used (a lie mi did a tell still) an di ugly customs bwoy tell mi seh im no bizniz an mi fi "talk to im betta dan dat" or no dish naw go no weh todeh. Wen mi ask im fi talk likkle louder caw mi neva hear weh im seh, a den di war start. Any way, a ole time someting dat but all mi haffi seh is, eff yuh noh waan Omar fi dig out yuh yeye dem, carry likkle extra wid yuh caw all a di customs bwoy dem have dem crew into di parking lot an dem a wait fi yuh rahtid eff yuh eva gree to dem tings deh an feel seh yuh a go get weh wid it caw yuh bredda deh a di door a wait fi yuh an yuh a goh mek a run fi it.
